I feel that the bberne, and the entire way of thinking presented misses out on this important aspect, and thus it fails as a psychological theory as well. Berne’s list of psychological “games” we all play with each other is fascinating, as is what you learn about yourself by analyzing which games you tend to revisit regularly. I jatsmzak it under the assumption that wise readers will be able to sort the good from the bad.
