Due to a hereditary condition, Borges became blind in his late fifties. Borges cites widely, from French books on Chinese philosophy, from Gaucho literature, to English medieval literature, it’s a huge network if you want to see more of that network, get Professor Borges: A book is not an isolated entity: For me the comparison enhances an appreciation of both Borges and the Kabbalah.
