I hope people who read this autobiography do not think that Bangladesh, the people of Bangladesh and its customs are horrible. The only clues to this seemed to be where her family was residing at the time and who was the maid in their house.

This controversial yet bold book leaves a strong impression on the reader’s mind. This groundbreaking book throws open a window on a world unknown to most Westerners.
